REVEALED: Palace consider recalling Jonathan Williams from Ipswich loan
CRYSTAL PALACE are weighing up whether to recall Welsh international Jonathan Williams from his loan spell at Ipswich Town.
With Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh out injured, Palace boss Tony Pulis is short of forward options.
And with his side scoring just ONE goal in their last five matches, the Eagles could move to bring back Williams from his temporary stay at Portman Road.
Pulis revealed he watched the 20-year-old score Ipswich's opener during their 2-1 victory over Derby on Tuesday and was impressed.
"Yeah I went and watched the game on Tuesday," he said.
"I went up to Ipswich and watched it and he's smashed in a great goal.
When pressed on whether he would recall Williams, Pulis was giving little away.
"If I do that I'll be speaking to Ipswich before I'll be speaking to you," he added.
