Olivier Giroud to extend Arsenal stay despite Roma and Dortmund interest
OLIVIER GIROUD'S agent claims he could extend his Arsenal stay at the end of the season, despite interest from Roma and Borussia Dortmund.
The France striker, who moved to north London from Montpellier for £12million in 2012, has scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Gunners, leading to rumours of a move abroad.
But the 27-year-old's agent, Michael Manuello, claims there has been no contact from any interested clubs and that he is working to secure a new deal at the Emirates.
Manuello said: "The rumours about Olivier are not surprising given that he is having a great season.
At the end of the season we will meet with the Gunners to discuss a contract extension
"I read about Juventus and Roma, but the truth is that there has been no contact with these clubs or with other ones.
"Juve were interested, it is true, but that was before he moved to Arsenal.
"He's very settled in London and the club is happy with him. I think there is no possibility he might change club.
