Brighton 0 - Ipswich 2: Jon's boos-fuelled romp
JONNY WILLIAMS came back to haunt Brighton as Ipswich kept their play-off hopes alive.
The midfielder, on loan from Crystal Palace, was back at the Amex for the first time since last season's play-offs semi-final.
He was booed throughout, but set up Daryl Murphy's vital second goal after 80 minutes.
And that came after Murphy had set up Tommy Smith on the hour to put the Tractor Boys in front against Oscar Garcia's men.
It was Ipswich's first victory at Brighton for 25 years. And defeat, in front of their biggest crowd of the season was a blow to the Seagulls' ambitions of finishing in the top six.
Williams had the ball in the net after 23 minutes but his effort was disallowed for offside.
