Jose Mourinho coy over Chelsea's title chances after Arsenal demolition
JOSE MOURINHO still insists Chelsea aren't favourites for the Premiership despite thrashing Arsenal 6-0.
The Blues embarrassed Arsene Wenger's men at Stamford Bridge as they dominated the game from start to finish.
But despite keeping his unbeaten home record intact and ruining Wenger's 1,000th game as Gunners boss, Mourinho believes Chelsea's European commitments could hinder their domestic run-in.
He claimed: "We go match after match. We play Palace next and after that we go to Paris.
"It's a different situation to Arsenal. It's a different situation to Liverpool, and Manchester City are also not in that situation.
"We are happy to be in that situation. (We can win the league) if they let us."
However the Special One was thrilled with his side's performance over their title rivals this afternoon, and reckons the landslide win could boost Chelsea as they seek to end the season on a high.
"We start in an incredible way. After seven minutes it is 2-0 and the game is over," he added.
"We want to try to make Arsenal not feel comfortable, the way they like to play.
"We managed to do that - 2-0 after seven minutes and the game is over, because we were too strong for them.
"After that the penalty comes and the red card. The game was resolved in 10 minutes.
"This was the most important match of the season for them. We don't say that, it was an important match for us.
"Arsenal are always an important rival. It was important to beat them."
