Chelsea unveil their latest new signing: a set of power tools!
JOSE MOURINHO'S comments about needing a power tool to penetrate West Ham's defence in Chelsea's 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge last night have not gone unheeded, with power tool supplier Worx stepping in to help the Special One.
Worx made a special delivery of DIY essentials to Stamford Bridge this morning, after Mourinho's men were left frustrated by London rivals West Ham on Wednesday night.
The Blues spurned countless chances as the Hammers dug in for a valuable point in their relegation battle, while the west Londoners lost ground on new leaders Manchester City and failed to bridge the gap to second-placed Arsenal.
Chelsea boss Mourinho was left bemoaning the defensive tactics of Sam Allardyce's men, claiming he would need a power tool to penetrate the West Ham defence.
So DIY & Garden brand Worx made a special delivery, saying their essentials kit will ensure the Blues are able to carve open even the toughest of defences throughout the rest of the season.
Chelsea's players can now look forward to training drills being replaced by power drills, with sanders wearing down stubborn opponents.
Carly Bidwell, Worx UK Marketing Manager, said: "Our high performance power tools are strong enough to break down any walls – not least one made up of James Tomkins and Razvan Rat. We're confident the WX166 20V Drill Driver can do the job".
"We hope Jose appreciates our donation and hopefully for him, they'll be no further spanners in the works this season."
