Good news for West Ham as Guy Demel is discharged from hospital
WEST HAM have been given a glimmer of good news as Guy Demel has been discharged from hospital.
The defender was taken off on a stretcher and required oxygen after landing awkwardly during an accidental collision with Frazier Campbell in the 2-0 win against Cardiff.
The Hammers have been plagued by injury problems with James Collins and Winston Reid injured, and James Tomkins compounded matters after he saw red yesterday when coming back from injury.
The news was officially confirmed on the club's Twitter page.

However, it is unclear at this stage when Demel will return to action.
West Ham, who had conceded 11 goals prior to the victory over Cardiff, are out of the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference.
