Doncaster Rovers 2 - Stevenage 3: Paul Dickov left fuming as Doncaster collapse
THREE second-half goals gave League One Stevenage a deserved victory against Championship strugglers Doncaster.
Francois Zoko, Peter Hartley and Darius Charles all scored to send Graham Westley’s side through to round four, despite a scare when Liam Wakefield grabbed a second for Rovers late on.
Westley said: “It seemed like about 27 minutes of injury time but it was good to deal with the pressure and make it through.” Rovers boss Paul Dickov said: “To get an inept performance like that disgusted me.
“We were devoid of any intensity or quality and I won’t stand for it.
There were seven players there for us who won League One last season, so it should have been enough to get a result.”
