REVEALED: Chelsea won't sell Juan Mata to Man Utd, Liverpool or Spurs
CHELSEA will refuse to sell unsettled playmaker Juan Mata to a Premier League rival as the Spaniard's future approaches boiling point.
Mata's agents rang Chelsea to demand answers following his second half substitution by Jose Mourinho during the 3-0 win over Southampton.
And with Mourinho publicly admitting the "door is open" for Mata to leave, a January exit appears likely.
However, Express Sport understands Chelsea will not allow the 25-year-old to join another club in the Premier League, which will disappoint Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham.
The Blues would rather allow Mata to leave on loan than join one of their rivals, but there is concrete interest on the continent.
Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Napoli are ready to pay £30million to sign the former Valencia star, if he insists he wants to leave Stamford Bridge.
Mata - twice Chelsea's player of the year - has not pushed for an exit but may feel he has to in order to save his flagging hopes of making Spain's World Cup squad next summer.
