Barnsley 1 - Yeovil 1: Struggling Tykes held at the bottom
BARNSLEY remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship after being held to a home draw with fellow strugglers Yeovil.
The point did little to persuade disgruntled Tykes fans that caretaker boss Micky Mellon is the man to lead them on a permanent basis.
And Mellon admitted: “It was two points dropped, there’s no doubt about that. We lacked that little bit of quality
“As for the manager’s job, I can’t comment. I don’t know what will happen.”
Joel Grant gave the visitors the lead after 10 minutes with Marcus Tudgay equalising from the penalty spot 11 minutes from the break.
Yeovil manager Gary Johnson said: “It was a good game. There were plenty of chances at both ends.”
