TEAM NEWS: Ben Arfa to return as Pardew waits on Cisse for United trip
NEWCASTLE manager Alan Pardew is sweating on the fitness of striker Papiss Cisse ahead of his side's trip to Manchester United.
United host Newcastle in the lunchtime kick-off tomorrow at Old Trafford, having moved up to seventh after four straight league victories last month.
Cisse has been forced to take a back seat to Loic Remy and Shola Ameobi in recent weeks, but he missed the 3-0 defeat at Swansea on Wednesday with a heel problem.
The Senegal international will be assessed by Magpies medics before Pardew decides whether to include him in the travelling party to Manchester.
Meanwhile, playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa is expected to be available after also missing the Swansea game through illness.
Ben Arfa trained with Newcastle yesterday and could be utilised from the bench against United.
Provisional squad: Krul, Elliot; Debuchy, Coloccini, Williamson, Yanga-Mbiwa, S. Taylor, Santon, Dummett, Haidara; Tiote, Anita, Cabaye, Marveaux, Sissoko, Ben Arfa; Sammy Ameobi, Bigirimana, Obertan, Cisse, Remy, Gouffran, Shola Ameobi.
