Ex-United coach Meulensteen to help Fulham snare Zaha and Anderson
FULHAM hope former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen’s influence can allow them to sign Wilfried Zaha and Anderson on loan.
Meulensteen left United when Sir Alex Ferguson retired this summer and has now joined Martin Jol at Fulham.
And the Cottagers hope his links at Old Trafford can help them secure the services of Zaha and Anderson on loan in January.
Zaha is a target for Everton and Newcastle, but United boss David Moyes would prefer to loan out the winger rather than sell.
Fulham are also keen on 25-year-old Anderson, who is surplus to requirements at the champions.
United's good relationship with Meulensteen could help the West London club secure the services of the pair until next summer.
Meanwhile, Moyes is set to add the Premier League's head of elite performance John Murtough to his backroom staff at Old Trafford.
