Arsenal & West Ham target Demba Ba 'wants Turkish move' after being frozen out at Chelsea
CHELSEA striker Demba Ba is keen on a move to Turkey with Besiktas in January.
Ba has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea this season and has been linked with a loan move in the upcoming transfer window to regain first-team football.
Both Arsenal and West Ham made loan moves for Ba over the summer and both are thought to retain an interest in the Senegal international in January.
But with Chelsea thought to be reluctant to do business with a Premier League rival a move to Turkey may be more appealing.
And reports coming out of Turkey suggest that Ba is keen on the idea.
Ba is reported to have held top-secret talks with Besiktas on a recent trip to Istanbul, although Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also thought to be interested.
According to FIFA agent Ceylan Caliskan, no deal has been agreed yet but it may just be a matter of time.
He said: "I talk closely with Demba Ba, he wants to play for a Turkish club but I can't comment on a transfer yet."
Besiktas have scored the fewest goals in the top four this season and new manager Slaven Bilic is believed to have requested a new striker in January to boost their tally in the second half of the season.
