Juventus to offer Paul Pogba pay rise to keep Arsenal and Chelsea at bay
JUVENTUS intend to offer Paul Pogba a bumper pay rise to ward off potential suitors.
Arsenal and Chelsea have both been in the frame for the 20-year-old's signature.
Express Sport learned recently that both clubs would have to pay around £40 million to prise him from the Bianconeri.
But Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta claims the club are in talks to negotiate a rise in his pay packet.
"Pogba is happy at Juventus and he has no intention of leaving," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
"We will meet with the Frenchman's agents soon to extend our agreement and, at the same time, we will give him a pay-rise for his development."
Pogba's current deal expires in 2016.
