Manchester United joined by Man City and Barcelona in Fraser Forster pursuit
MANCHESTER CITY have cast an admiring glance in Fraser Forster's direction as doubts persist over Joe Hart.
Forster has also garnered interest from Barcelona who are looking at a possible replacement for Victor Valdes, who is set to leave the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
Reports suggest City will dispatch scouts to run the rule over the 25-year-old in the coming weeks.
Manchester United are also thought to be mooted suitors for Forster.
The Celtic keeper could fetch at least £10 million and City could throw in some players as a bait to try and strike a deal.
Barcelona star Xavi has already suggested that Forster could make the grade at the Camp Nou if he were to make the switch.
He said: "I think the players all know about the Forster interest – and it is a player we know very well.
"I can’t say that I watch him every week – but when we have played Celtic he has shown that he is a world-class goalkeeper."
