Valencia ready to offer Liverpool's Tiago Ilori January exit route
VALENCIA are plotting a January loan move for Liverpool's Tiago Ilori.
Reports in Portugal suggest that Ilori could be on his way to Spain after failing to win regular playing time at Anfield following his £7m summer move from Sporting Lisbon.
According to A Bola, Valencia are willing to offer Ilori more regular playing time during the second half of the season and hope that the presence of Portugese players Ricardo Costa, Joao Pereira and Helder Postiga will work in their favour.
While fellow new arrivals Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho have quickly established themselves in Brendan Rodgers first team plans, 20-year-old Ilori is yet to feature for Liverpool this season.
Valencia are in need of defensive reinforcements with French defender Adil Rami set to join AC Milan on loan after falling out with Los Che management.
However, the financially challenged club are in no position to bring in a permanent replacement, making the prospect of taking Ilori on loan a very appealing one.
