Everton, Aston Villa and Fulham in hunt to sign former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady
AIDEN McGEADY is a target for Everton, Aston Villa and Fulham in the January transfer window.
McGeady is currently plying his trade with Spartak Moscow after making a £9.5m move in 2010.
Reports in Russia suggest Spartak are in negotiations with the three Premier League sides.
However, according to Izvestia, none of the sides are currently willing to meet the Moscow sides asking price.
McGeady's contract expires next summer and Spartak are reluctant to lose the Republic of Ireland winger for nothing.
But none of the English sides has offered more than £3.5m while CSKA are holding out for at least £6m.
McGeady is known to be keen on a move to the Premier League but agent Jan Dreyer maintains he is committed to Spartak.
Earlier this year Dreyer said: "My client has a contract with Spartak, which he will see out like a true professional.
"While he is totally focussed on Spartak, if he gets a really serious offer from England which is acceptable to the club we will consider it.
"To talk about anything at this stage is premature."
