Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger 'mystified' by Theo Walcott's injury
ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger is mystified over the extent of what Theo Walcott's injury is and is unsure when he will return to action.
Walcott was due to start for the Gunners against Stoke yesterday but picked up an injury during the warm-up.
Wenger's side travel to West Brom for a Capital One Cup encounter on Wednesday, but the Frenchman is in the dark over when he will return.
"He had an abdominal muscle problem, I don't really know what it is," Wenger said.
"Nobody can tell me whether it is just a question of days.
"He had a test before the game and I decided to play him but he had a little problem before the Marseille game (last week) and it then became a bit worse.
"It's a bit mysterious, because we don't really know what it is."
