Sheffield Wednesday 2 - Millwall 2: Andy Keogh grabs vital point
ICE-COOL Andy Keogh conjured up a late goal to hand Steve Lomas his first point after a nightmare start in the Millwall hot seat.
Wednesday, also looking for their first win, recovered from an early setback when, after five minutes, Lee Martin’s cross was turned into his own goal by Kamil Zayatte.
Two minutes later Reda Johnson capitalised on keeper Stephen Bywater’s mistake to equalise and Jeremy Helan, who finished in spectacular fashion, then put Wednesday in front.
But Keogh kept his composure to score from the spot after a foul on Richard Chaplow.
Lomas admitted: “We have got to eradicate individual errors.”
Wednesday boss Dave Jones said: “It wasn’t a penalty but we should have seen the game out.”
