PICTURE: Gareth Bale arrives at Spurs training ground as doubts linger over Real move
GARETH BALE showed up to Spurs' training ground amid reports that a move to Real Madrid has been put on hold.
Reports indicated that a £93m fee had been agreed for Bale and was expected to finalise his transfer to the Spanish capital this afternoon.
This also follows news this week that Real Madrid were selling Bale shirts in Gibraltar ahead of his impending arrival.
Spurs have braced themselves for Bale's departure by bringing in four new players and have broken their transfer record twice.
Bale appeared to be calm as he drove into Spurs' training ground wearing a t-shirt and sunglasses.
Spurs are also hoping to sign Erik Lamela and Willian, although Jose Mourinho appears to have won that race.
Speaking about Willian's move, he said: "That's the danger of medicals before contracts," said Mourinho.
"You have to do the medical before, but the best thing to do is to do the medical in secret.
"If the player is fine, you can sign him. If the player is not fine you don't destroy his career."
