Manchester United target Real Madrid's Mesut Ozil to strengthen midfield
MANCHESTER UNITED want Real Madrid's Mesut Ozil according to reports in Spain.
United have been weighing up their midfield targets after missing out on Thiago Alcantara and have been heavily linked to Marouane Fellaini.
One national paper has reported that United are looking to make a last bid of £40m to claw Cesc Fabregas away from Barcelona.
But now it seems United have Ozil in their sights according to a source close to the player.
"The team that wants to sign is Manchester United and the player who wants to strengthen it is Mesut Özil," a source told Spanish radio station Punto Pelota.
