Hull City finalise deal for Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone
HULL CITY have tied up a deal for Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone according to reports.
Sky Sports claims a £5m fee has been agreed between the two clubs which would also cover the loan signing of Jake Livermore.
Huddlestone, who was out of favour with Andre Villas-Boas last term and was also linked with a move to Sunderland in the window, has penned a three-year deal at the KC Stadium.
The fee for Huddlestone is believed to be a new club transfer record, after eclipsing the amount they paid for Jimmy Bullard back in January 2009.
Hull manager Steve Bruce has been looking at midfield reinforcements as he seeks to make his side competitive next term.
Meanwhile, Spurs have accepted a second bid from QPR for Scott Parker.
The tough-tackling midfielder is expected to have a medical at the Hoops' training ground today.
