Spurs shot stopper Hugo Lloris' looking forward to linking up with Etienne Capoue
SPURS shot stopper Hugo Lloris has professed he is looking forward to Etienne Capoue coming to White Hart Lane.
The in-demand midfielder is closing in on a £9.5m switch to Andre Villas-Boas's side after Toulouse chief Olivier Sadran told a French radio station he was going there.
Arsenal were also hovering around Capoue, but Spurs have won the race for his signature.
Lloris, who has established himself as the No.1 at White Hart Lane, is excited about his compatriot's imminent arrival.
"It is a new step for him to take in his career," Lloris told French paper L'Equipe.
"For now, he ignores his situation, he is fully focused on the game tomorrow (Wednesday against Belgium).
"But I'm delighted with his arrival in England and Tottenham. For him to take his bearings and to prove."
Capoue also garnered interest from Cardiff, but snubbed the chance to join the Premier League new boys.
