Spurs locked in battle with West Ham and Fulham for Watford's Troy Deeney
SPURS are keeping a tab on Watford hit man Troy Deeney according to reports.
The north London outfit are seeking to expand their attacking arsenal, with Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe linked with moves away from the club.
But Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that Defoe will remain at White Hart Lane next season.
And according to Sky Sports, a trio of Premier League clubs are in the hunt for Deeney's signature.
The 25-year-old has been linked with Fulham and West Ham too, so it seems Spurs have a battle on their hands.
Hornets manager Gianfranco Zola admits he is worried Deeney could leave and said at the weekend: "The transfer window is still open - and that could be a problem."
Deeney blasted a hat-trick in Watford's 6-1 demolition of Bournemouth.
