Ian Wright thinks Luis Suarez should turn down Arsenal move and stay at Liverpool
LIVERPOOL forward Luis Suarez has been advised by Ian Wright to stay at Anfield and snub a move to Arsenal.
The Reds have already flatly turned down two offers from Arsenal - one which was £40,000,0001 as they look to hold onto their prize asset.
The Gunners have been handed a massive £70m transfer kitty, but fans have been left frustrated by Arsene Wenger's inability to make a marquee signing this summer.
Having lost out to Napoli in the race for Gonzalo Higuain and with Wayne Rooney more likely to join Chelsea if he leaves Old Trafford this summer, Wenger has been hot on Suarez's heels.
Though Wright has called for Arsenal to match the spending of the Premier League powerhouses, he believes Suarez should stay put at Anfield.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5's live football phone-in show 606, Wright said: "I'd welcome him at Arsenal with open arms.
"But if I was Suarez, when you look at everything, it does seem strange he would want to go to Arsenal. I would give Liverpool another season."
Arsenal's only summer signing to date has been Auxerre forward Yaya Sanogo whom they got on a free.
Suarez smashed 23 goals in the Premier League last term.
