Tottenham and Manchester United given cold shoulder by Fredy Guarin's agent
SPURS and Manchester United have both been given the cold shoulder by Fredy Guarin's agent, as he insists the player has no intention of leaving Inter Milan.
The north London outfit have been on Guarin's trail for a while, with Andre Villas-Boas keen to add more cutting edge to his midfield.
We reported yesterday that Manchester United have identified Guarin as the ilk of player they wish to bring to Old Trafford, and were lining up a double swoop for him and defender Andrea Ranocchia.
However, despite the Premier League clubs sounding out a move for the 26-year-old, Guarin's agent, Marclo Ferreyra insists he leaving the Serie A giants.
Speaking to club website fcinternews.it, he said: "He wants to stay at Inter, he is happy and wants to become a champion in these colours.
When asked about a possible transfer away from the club, Ferreyra was quick to dispel the rumours surrounding his client.
“Manchester United, Tottenham and Anzhi are not a part of our sporting project.
“We are not interested in going to another club as my client wants to win with the Inter shirt.”
Guarin chipped in with seven goals in all competitions last term.
