Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic could leave for AC Milan
MANCHESTER UNITED centre-back Nemanja Vidic could be set to move to Italy this summer, with AC Milan tracking the Serbian stopper.
Vidic has been tipped to leave United for the San Siro this summer, despite saying he is looking forward to working with new manager David Moyes.
Moyes is currently plotting his movements in the transfer market to bolster the Old Trafford squad, with Argentinian defender Ezequiel Garay reportedly set to come in for a price of £17million.
And with Rio Ferdinand retiring from international duty to focus on his club commitments, United could entertain offers for injury-stricken Vidic.
The 31-year-old made less than 20 league appearances last season, following on from an even more absent campaign in 2011/12.
According to reports on the continent, AC Milan are weighing up a bid for Vidic in order to play him alongside French defender Phillipe Mexes
While a formal offer is yet to be submitted, Vidic - who is currently holidaying in Ibiza - could switch Manchester for Milan this summer.
