Laurent Koscielny reaffirms commitment to Arsenal amid Bayern and Barcelona rumours
ARSENAL defender Laurent Koscielny has once again moved to quell speculation that he could leave the Emirates this summer.
Koscielny's future has been the subject of mounting speculation, with Bayern Munich mooted suitors.
Furthermore, Barcelona have also been hot on his heels, as they seek defensive cover for Carles Puyol, whose season was cut short by injury last term.
The 27-year-old Frenchman had even raised the spectre of a departure from the Emirates when he launched a thinly-veiled threat that he would leave if the club didn't show more ambition by winning silverware.
However, Koscielny insisted it is vital for Arsenal to be involved in the Champions League and is committed to seeing out his contract.
"I have four-year contract. For now, I am still at Arsenal," Koscielny told French regional paper La Montagne.
"The most important thing is that Arsenal is in the Champions League. It is super exciting to play against the best teams in Europe."
Meanwhile, Arsenal are expected to sign Gonzalo Higuain for £22m and Yaya Sanogo on a free, as his Auxerre contract expires on July 1.
