St Etienne defender Kurt Zouma flattered by Chelsea interest
CHELSEA target Kurt Zouma says he is glad that Chelsea have registered their interest in him.
The powerful centre back is at the centre of an intriguing bidding war, and had originally attracted attention from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Though Jose Mourinho is considering a move for 18-year-old star, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Russian giants Anzhi Makhachkala are also keeping a tab on the player who has rated at £10m.
And Zouma, who is currently competing in the U20 World Cup, is honoured by the interest shown by Chelsea.
"If you hear of interest from Chelsea and a great manager such as Jose Mourinho, you take notice," Kouma told Sky Sports.
"It makes you happy and it means you are on the right way to the top.
"I am relaxed about all the fuss about me being linked with big clubs, at the moment my focus is on the Under-20 World Cup."
With John Terry no longer guaranteed a regular first-team spot, Mourinho is keen to make defensive reinforcements.
