CONFIRMED: Real Madrid name Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach
REAL MADRID have formally announced Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach on a three-year deal.
Ancelotti replaces Jose Mourinho, whose turbulent three-year stint ended up with a trophy less season for Los Blancos.
PSG had initially blocked Real's approach for their manager, who steered the affluent outfit to their first Ligue 1 title in 19 years, however they have finally got their man.
Madrid published a statement, in which they lauded as the 'best elected coach in all leagues where he has coached: Italy, England and France'.
The Italian's Champions League pedigree is undisputed as he presided over two European Cup wins for AC Milan in 2003 and 2007. He also tasted European Cup glory twice as a player for the Rossoneri in 1989 and 1990.
