Micah Richards to hold talks with Manchester City over new deal
MANCHESTER CITY are set to sit down with Micah Richards to discuss a new deal.
The 24-year-old right back was plagued by injury last season, making just eight appearances.
It was thought that the £15m rated defender would be used as a pawn to facilitate a move for Napoli hit man Edinson Cavani, however the Uruguayan appears set to snub the citizens for Real Madrid.
Richards was linked with a move to Liverpool, who got Kolo Toure on a free.
It is thought that Richards is part of Manuel Pellegrini's plans, and City's director of football Txiki Begiristain is ready to talk terms with the player.
Richards, who has been a one-club player, has two years left to run on his current deal.
