Remorseful Liverpool star Luis Suarez wants to play with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid
LIVERPOOL striker Luis Suarez has admitted his biting controversy was no one's fault but his own - but only after claiming he wants to link up with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu.
Suarez appears to be pushing for a move away from Liverpool this summer, stating the way he is treated by the English media as the reason for his desire to leave.
And the Uruguayan has again ramped up talk that he could be playing for Real Madrid next season by talking up a partnership with Portuguese goal-hero Ronaldo.
"Of course I would like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo - he's a great player," said Suarez. "You never know, but it's complicated."
Suarez went on to discuss the incident with Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic that saw him banned for 10 games for biting the Serbian defender.
"The incident with Ivanovic - I know I made a mistake, it was me, my fault, and he did not do anything to me," he admitted.
"I was angry because I had given away a penalty for handball. I was the cause of the penalty against my team - I saw red and completely lost it. I can't really explain it.
"But still people can be very cruel, and the reaction was amazing."
