Liverpool and Spurs both in hunt for talented FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli
LIVERPOOL and Spurs both appear keen to add to the growing influx of Belgian players in the summer, as they are monitoring Nacer Chadli.
The FC Twente midfielder was instrumental for the Dutch outfit last campaign, as he racked up 34 appearances.
With the likes of Aston Villa's Christian Benteke, Everton's Marouane Fellaini and Chelsea's Eden Hazard all flourishing in the Premier League, it seems that Chadli wants to shine like his countrymen have.
Though sources in Holland hinted that Chadli would prefer to play Champions League football which neither Liverpool or Spurs could offer, both clubs will have been handed a boost by his agent's latest comments.
"Nacar likes Champions League games but he is also attracted by English football. From that angle we expect something," Daniel Evrard told Dutch paper De Telegraaf.
"Nacer is in a great position, both sportingly and in terms of his contract.
"I expect that clubs do not want to wait that long, and there will certainly be a decision this month."
Chadli hit 13 goals in all competitions last term.
