PICTURES: Wayne Rooney models Manchester United's new home kit launch
WAYNE ROONEY has dropped a clear hint he could be at Manchester United next season after modelling their new home kit.
Rooney, who is reported to have handed a second transfer request in the space of three years at the end of last campaign, has been continually linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Arsenal have become the latest club to stake an interest in him, with Arsene Wenger speaking openly about him as a transfer target.
But judging by the pictures from the kit launch, Rooney may be about to perform a U-turn.
The home kit pays homage to United hero Eric Cantona, who used to swagger around the pitch with it upturned.
It has three buttons at the front and one at the black.
Also, the kit is made from recycled polyester as Nike has pledged to produce performance clothing that reduces their carbon footprint.
Rooney seemed to like the look of the kit, tweeting: "I think the most important thing is how it feels."
