Spain winger Jesus Navas talks up Manchester City move
MANCHESTER CITY could be set to land Sevilla star Jesus Navas after the wide-man talked up the possibility of moving to the Etihad this summer.
Navas has been hotly tipped to make a switch to the Premier League for next season, with incoming Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini keen on signing the La Liga flyer.
Liverpool had been credited with late interest in the 27-year-old, but it appears that Navas has already made up his mind about where he will be playing his football next.
"I like Manchester City a lot and it has great players," Navas told Spanish sports paper Marca.
"Manchester City has done all it can to bring me in and I have to be grateful for that. I want to go on and win trophies.
"I'm now open to anything. I want to win more and reach my goals."
Reports in Spain indicate that Navas will not be sold for less than £17 million, while Sevilla manager Unai Emery admits the player will be on his way out this summer.
"Everything indicates that he will leave", said Emery.
