Arsenal and Spurs target Younes Belhanda still has heart set on Premier League move
ARSENAL and Spurs have once again be given encouragement in their ongoing pursuit of Younes Belhanda.
The versatile Montpellier midfielder was on Arsenal's agenda in January, however Arsene Wenger was unable to broker a deal.
Spurs are weighing up targets to give them more cutting edge and creativity, as they fell short in their bid to finish in the top four.
And Belhanda, who has been agitating for a move away from the Ligue 1 champions, has his heart set on playing in the Premier League.
"I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks," Belhanda told French paper L'Equipe.
"My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history.
"I will not learn anything else in France. I know how we play here. I need a new mentality, new excitement."
Meanwhile, Montpellier have tried to block a move for Arsenal target Remy Cabella.
