Hamburg confident they can keep Heung-Min Son amid Spurs interest
HAMBURG are confident they will be able to cling onto Heung-Min Son this summer.
The South Korean's future at the Bundesliga outfit has been the subject of mounting speculation, with Spurs hot on his heels.
We reported earlier this month that Son Heung-Min was on the verge of wrapping up a £10m deal, as they had to contend with losing Mario Gotze to Bayern Munich.
But Hamburg's sports director Frank Arnesen is confident the club will thrash out a new deal for a player, whose contract expires next summer.
"I think he stays. At the moment there is no movement," Arnesen told German paper Bild.
"There are also no talks. It is agreed that we will talk after the last game. In the coming weeks we will sit together [and discuss it]."
Son has struck 12 times in the Bundesliga this term.
