Inter Milan plan swoop for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon
INTER MILAN will try to tempt Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon to Italy in a move that would send shockwaves through White Hart Lane.
Question marks already hang over the head of Gareth Bale, who has been linked with a £50million move to Real Madrid, and a potential loss of Lennon would be a huge double blow for Spurs.
The Italian giants tried to lure Lennon to the San Siro last summer before he signed a new four-year deal with Tottenham.
But Inter - who are ninth in Serie A - are having a desperately poor season and they see Lennon as the man to improve their fortunes next year, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport,
The England international helped Spurs overpower Inter 3-0 in the Europa League back in March but started the second leg from the bench as his side went out on penalties.
