Arsenal and Spurs target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals Real Madrid ambition
ARSENAL and Spurs could both be spurned by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer.
The St Etienne striker garnered the interest of a clutch of Premier League clubs in the January transfer window and in recent weeks, the net has widened with Rubin Kazan joining the race for him.
Spurs are looking to increase their firepower as Emmanuel Adebayor has managed only five goals in the league this campaign.
The north London outfit have also been hot on £30m rated Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke's heels ahead of the summer window.
But Aubameyang has dropped a huge hint that Real Madrid could be his next destination.
"I cannot fail with my decision, whatever I decide to do will not be a mistake," Aubameyang told France 24.
"The reflection will be long and I want to negotiate with the club that offers the best for me in every way. My dream is to one day play for Real Madrid."
Aubameyang has been in free-scoring mode this season, plundering 19 goals in 34 Ligue 1 starts.
