Manchester City shot stopper Costel Pantilimon open to Serie A move
MANCHESTER CITY goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon has hinted at a possible exit from the Etihad in the summer.
Pantilimon, who has been deployed as City's cup shot stopper, was dropped for last weekend's FA Cup final defeat in favour of Joe Hart.
The Romanian has only made five appearances for the Citizens this season and it is thought he is after regular first-team football.
Pantilimon admitted that it would be a 'dream' to play in Serie A to further his career.
"I am 26 years old, I'm in the middle of my career and I cannot be happy to play five games a season," Pantilimon told Italian publication La Nazione.
"I thought I would play at least the FA Cup final against Wigan, but we all know how it went.
"The interest of Fiorentina? My agent deals with this, I just think of working and improving.
""But getting in Serie A would be a dream and some national team-mates, such as Lobont and Chivu, spoke well about Florence."
