Wigan heavily backed by bookmakers for FA Cup and relegation double
WIGAN have been given very short odds to become the first Premier League side to be relegated having won the FA Cup.
The Latics were in jubilant mood on Saturday after a Ben Watson header clinched a dramatic 1-0 win at Wembley against Manchester City.
However, their Premier League survival hopes are in the balance, and with Newcastle and Norwich both winning, they can ill-afford to lose against Arsenal tomorrow evening.
As far as tomorrow night's game against Arsenal goes, Wigan have been priced at 8/1 by Paddy Power to come away from the Emirates with all three points.
Although Wigan have become the escape specialists, they have been given odds of 1/40 to be relegated.
Meanwhile, Paddy Power have installed Martinez as the favourite to fill the vacant Everton post at 15/8.
