Everton players let their hair down at David Moyes' farewell supper
EVERTON manager David Moyes may be taking over the helm at Manchester United next season, but the players weren't going to let him walk away quietly.
After bowing out in his final home game of the season with a 2-0 win over West Ham, the outgoing Scot was treated to a farewell supper last night.
The players were out in full force as they attended a dinner last night at Southern Eleven, a barbecue restaurant in Manchester.
Jonny Heitinga, Leighton Baines, Marouane Fellaini and Phil Neville were among those who enjoyed Moyes' send-off.
It had also been an emotional day for Neville, who is also leaving the club at the end of the season.
Prior to the traditional lap of honour after the final whistle, Neville took to the pitch to make a farewell speech.
"It was a fantastic day and to share my farewell with the man who is the reason why I am here is extra special," Neville told the club's in-house channel Everton TV.
"I have given everything I can to Everton Football Club. I class Everton as my family as well now."
