Spurs and Liverpool target Christian Eriksen opens talks with Borussia Dortmund
SPURS and Liverpool transfer target Christian Eriksen has apparently opened talks with Borussia Dortmund over a summer move.
The 21-year-old Dane is one of the hottest talents in the European game, and was an instrumental figure in Ajax's title-winning campaign.
His performances in both the league and Champions League caught the eye of a whole host of Premier League clubs, including the two aforementioned clubs, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Though we reported last week that Eriksen was eyeing up a Premier League move, it seems that he has a change of heart and is contemplating a move to Dortmund.
"Dortmund are a club where I would like to play," he told Dutch paper De Telegraaf.
"I think I would be a good fit there with the football there.
"Dortmund play nice, attacking football. The Bundesliga has never really been my preferred choice and a few years ago I would not even have considered it,
but now I do.
"The competition is getting stronger and it is no coincidence the two Champions League finalists are German clubs."
Dortmund have already lost Mario Gotze this season to rivals Bayern Munich, and Ilkay Gundogan is a mooted target for Manchester United.
