Net widens for Arsenal and Spurs target Abdel Barrada
ARSENAL and Spurs are both set to be rivalled in their bid to nab Getafe midfielder Abdel Barrada.
The Moroccan has been monitored by both north London outfits in the last few weeks as they are looking for a creative spark.
Although Arsenal boast a silky midfield line-up with the likes of Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere, they will be given a £70m transfer kitty which Arsene Wenger hopes to put to good use.
Barrada has a £17m release clause written into his contract which may dissuade both suitors.
But reports in Spain have surfaced which indicate Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow are ready to enter the race for him.
Barrada has chipped in with four goals in all competitions for Getafe and has been capped nine times by his country.
