West Ham offer trial to Honduran starlet
WEST HAM have given a trial to Honduras international prodigy Junior Lacayo.
The 17-year-old striker, who plays for hometown side Victoria, has flown to London with club chief Martin Fajardo.
Lacayo said: “I’m very hopeful of landing a move to West Ham. I could assure my family’s future.”
Yesterday, Hammers co-owner David Sullivan outlined the club's transfer plans for the summer, indicating Upton Park is set for a busy window.
“Our aim for the coming season is to bring in four or five players that will strengthen the squad," said Sullivan.
While Andy Carroll is one of those players in mind, West Ham have yet to make a bid for their seven-goal loan star.
