Atletico Madrid to use sponsor as middle man to try to lure Liverpool's Luis Suarez
ATLETICO MADRID are plotting a sensational move to tempt Luis Suarez away from Anfield in the transfer window.
Suarez's future at Liverpool has reached fever pitch, ever since the Uruguayan was banned for 10 matches after biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
Bayern Munich, who are set to be handed a colossal £270m transfer kitty and Juventus have been circling in on Suarez.
But now it seems Atletico are readying a package in a bid to prise Suarez away from the Reds.
According to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, Atletico are calling on one of their main sponsor, the Azerbaijan government to provide the extra funds to land Suarez.
Although they go on to say that Suarez could fetch £33m, but one potential barrier to a deal could be his £5m salary.
Suarez plundered 23 goals in the Premier League this term.
