Wolves boss Dean Saunders expecting high-profile departures if they go down
WOLVES boss Dean Saunders has conceded that there could be a raft of players who leave Molineux at the end of the season should the club get relegated from the Championship.
Wanderers are teetering on the brink of back-to-back relegations as they are three points adrift of safety in 23rd place.
The likes of Jamie O'Hara, Stephen Hunt and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake could head for the exit as League One football may not appeal.
"I'd imagine a lot of the players won't want to stay," Saunders told the club's official site.
"They won't want to be playing in League One, so if that happens, we'll talk about it.
"Once we get through this week and get to the end of the season, we'll probably have a meeting - myself, Jez and the chairman - and we'll draw a plan up.
"Whether we're in the Championship or League One, we'll draw a plan up to make the club great again."
Wolves, who have won only one of their last five league games, travel to Brighton on the final day of the season.
