Bundesliga move not main ambition for Everton boss David Moyes
EVERTON boss David Moyes has distanced himself from a move to the Bundesliga.
The Scot, who is the third longest-serving manager in the Premier League, has been the subject of unrelenting speculation in the past few months.
Chelsea has been mooted as a possible destination, with Rafa Benitez due to leave his interim role at the end of the season.
Moyes, who has admitted he has a desire to widen his football knowledge abroad, quashed talks that his next move would be to Germany.
Although Moyes has a soft spot for Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund, he dispelled suggestions that managing in the Bundesliga is his main ambition.
"It’s not the main one," Moyes told the Daily Post.
"I’ve always said that I wouldn’t have a problem managing abroad and would want that in time but it’s not my main ambition or something I feel has to be done."
Moyes has already seeked assurances from the board about his transfer budget, as he is eyeing up a move to re-sign Joleon Lescott.
