Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp angrily hits back at Jose Mourinho exit reports
BORUSSIA DOPRTMUND coach Jurgen Klopp has denied reports that he told anyone Jose Mourinho is going to Chelsea.
Mourinho has been the subject of unrelenting speculation, and is believed to be heading for showdown talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez over his future.
Chelsea is believed to be the likely destination for the self-appointed Special One, who lifted back-to-back Premier League titles during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
But Klopp who comes up against Mourinho again this evening, has denounced the stories as being 'ridiculous'.
"I never told anyone that Mourinho is going to Chelsea or another club. I’m not a person who does things like that," Klopp told German paper Bild.
"I heard this story before our game with Fortuna and I have to admit I was very sad and angry because it is completely false.
"It is a made up story. Mourinho is a colleague and a friend and I would never mess around in such a manner."
Dortmund humbled Real in the Westfalenstadion 4-1 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final last week.
