Bayern Munich join hunt for Liverpool frontman Luis Suarez
GERMAN side Bayern Munich are expected to pursue a £35m move for Liverpool's banned striker Luis Suarez.
Suarez is looking increasingly likely to depart Liverpool at the end of this season, after being banned for 10 games for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Barcelona are considering the Uruguayan as part of their summer rebuilding, while Atletico Madrid have been tipped to replace seemingly Blues-bound hitman Falcao with Suarez.
Now it appears that Bundesliga winners Bayern will rival those clubs for the 26-year-old, who has previously refused to rule out a switch to the Allianz Arena.
Incoming coach Pep Guardiola has already showed his intentions in the transfer market after Munich announced a £32m swoop for Mario Gotze, of rivals Borussia Dortmund.
But with Dortmund unlikely to sell another of their stars - Real Madrid conqueror Robert Lewandowski - to Bayern they could turn to Suarez.
Guardiola's brother Pere is Suarez's agent, which adds further intrigue to the likelihood of him leaving Anfield for Munich.
