Everton signal their intentions for Juan Carlos
EVERTON look set to table a bid for Real Betis midfielder Juan Carlos in the transfer window.
The Toffees are bracing themselves for life without Marouane Fellaini, who has been continually courted by Chelsea.
Added to that, David Moyes has seeked reassurances from the board with regards to transfer budget as he intends to rebuild the team ahead of next season.
And now it seems Carlos has emerged as a target for the Toffess.
Portuguese paper A Bola has it that Everton are keen on Carlos and are willing to purchase his economic right.
Real Madrid have also been hovering around Carlos, according to their report, however he appears ready to spread his wings and play in England.
Carlos has clocked up 21 appearances for Betis this season.
